Thyonix has been acquired by BI Technology Limited. They approached us, the deal closed in about three weeks, and the whole product is now theirs.
The approach
We were not out looking for a buyer. Thyonix, our lead generation SaaS, was live and running when the message came in.
BI Technology Limited got in touch with us directly and asked about acquiring the product. That made the first conversation short: they knew what they were asking for, and we knew what we had.
Three weeks
From that first message to the handover took about three weeks. For a full product changing hands, that is quick, and it went smoothly the whole way.
Most of that comes down to both sides being clear. They asked direct questions and we gave direct answers. Nothing about the product had to be dressed up or explained away, so there was very little back and forth.
What changed hands
The whole SaaS. BI Technology Limited acquired Thyonix as a complete product, not a licence or a share of it, and every asset that belongs to it has been transferred to them.
The terms of the deal are undisclosed, and we will leave it at that.
Where Thyon stands
Thyon is no longer involved in Thyonix. The product and where it goes next are now in the hands of BI Technology Limited, and all decisions about it are theirs.
It was a clean handover and both sides came away happy with it. We wish them well with what they build next.
What we take from it
A product that is properly built is easy to hand over. That is the part we care about most, whether we are building for ourselves or for a partner: something that works, that someone else can pick up, and that is worth owning.
That is the same standard we bring to every project we take on.
